Dear Parents,

Thank you for the amazing and generous gift of a tree and cheque, which, although awkward I did manage to fit into the car for the journey home (the cheque fitted more easily)¬† ūüėȬ† I will find a spot in my garden to plant the tree in the spring, and will probably get a new ‚Äėtech‚Äô gadget with the cheque in the new year.

I have sent everyone a longer message by email, which I hope you have received, but the Nativity performance was a great end of career send off, I thought the children were magnificent on the day. ¬†Thanks also to Mrs Murray John, who contributed a lot to the success of this year’s show too.¬†

Thank you once again.

Best wishes,

Tom Pike

Ednam Primary Nativity was held in the village hall on Wednesday 10th December 2014, involved all the pupils in school.

Fortunately no one was missing on the day and the ‘Magical Jigsaw’, a story of the Nativity told by modern children through an old jigsaw, went amazingly well.

The songs were lively and fun, and everyone remembered their lines, the songs and when to come on and go off, with the nursery appearing as stars in the middle of the show!

Here are just a few clips with some songs.
