We had a welcome assembly for our guests where our pupils sang Scottish songs and there was a demonstration of Scottish dancing from two Primary 7 girls.

Classes also demonstrated the songs and dances they learned with our visitors, and they all did very well given they had only had a little practice.  Thanks go to our guests who worked extremely well with our pupils who have all enjoyed and benefitted from the experience.

Primary 5-7 are continuing with their topic on Ancient Greece after the holidays, and have so far finished Greek soldier shields using collage. Before the holidays Primary 6/7 were involved in a Hockey Festival in Kelso, with other schools from the area. Ednam had two mixed teams, with one team winning all its games and the other winning most.  They all had a great day and enjoyed playing against and meeting pupils fro the other local schools. 361 total… Continue reading
