P1-4 visited Bowmont Forest again. They were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful time again. They began with a game where they had to trust their partner to lead them around the forest. They then went on an adventure to a desert island where they made their own dens. The pupils were then given another challenge – to try to make a spark using a flint in order to set a cotton wool ball alight. Many of the pupils were successful with this! It was then time for the mandatory toasting of marshmallows’. We finished our afternoon by playing ‘Sleeping Squirrel’ where the children had to try to steal the squirrels treasures without being soaked by the squirrel. Thank you very much Anna, for another fun filled afternoon in the forest.
