Teachers from our ten project schools met in Anagni, Italy at the end of March 2014, for our second meeting in our Space Teds’ Adventures project.
There were new members to meet as well as colleagues who went to the first meeting in Scotland. There were also two pupils from Turkey on this visit.
When European teachers were here in Scotland last October, they worked ith our pupils teaching them traditional songs and dances from their countries. During the visit to Italy, Mrs Galloway and I introduced a class to the ‘Gay Gordons’ and the song ‘Everywhere We Go’ with an Italian twist.
As part of our new Comenius project pupils in all our schools are designing a logo for the Comenius news blog.
All our entries are on our school blog and over the weekend a voting button will be available for anyone to vote for the logo they like the best.
It is possible to vote for as many logos as you like, but you will be able to vote only once.
Voting will be open until the end of next week and the 10 logos with the most votes will go forward to the Comenius blog.
Each school in our project will do the same, and there will be 100 logos. Voting will begin again to find the best 10 logos from the hundred, but this time the best logo from each school will be selected to represent the Comenius blog. Each winning logo will be used on the blog over a few months.
The pupils who designed the winning logos will each receive a prize to the value of 20 Euros.
